‘Sounds Like Movement’ by duo – choreographer Peter Fraser and sound composer Dale Gorfinkel – “an exploratory duet of the body and automated sonic contraptions. A duet of movement and listening. A paper overcoat, body actions, sonic contraptions, puffings and swirls inviting attention to nature and our built environment.”  Dale and Peter have each worked in distant deserts and islands to develop renowned works. For some time they’ve sought to work together in a regional area. Castlemaine is it. ‘Sounds Like Movement’ is the work.  Sounds Like Movement  is the latest in Punctum’s innovative Seedpod residencies.

Sounds Like Movement is ALSO presented on Fri 17th at 8pm and Sun 19th at 3pm (without Undue Noise) If Sunday brings fine weather, Peter and Dale will perform outside. If it’s chilly then its inside. Meeting point at the ICU. Dress for the weather.
